1.1 Safe to install
This application utilizes your phone's built-in Augmented Reality capabilities to provide you with insightful information from an expert in stress, trauma, and anxiety.
In light of the recent pandemic, individuals may be experiencing higher levels of stress than usual. To address this need, we aim to connect you with a psychiatrist.
Dr. Arash Javanbakht, M.D., a psychiatrist and the director of the Stress, Trauma, & Anxiety Research Clinic (S.T.A.R.C.) at Wayne State University School of Medicine, will offer expert guidance on managing and coping with everyday stressors arising from a global pandemic. This immersive AR experience allows you to interact with Dr. Arash and his dog from the comfort of your home while maintaining a safe distance, providing you with the opportunity to learn valuable coping strategies.
To begin, simply select a module, direct your phone's camera at a nearby surface, and tap "Start" to place and activate the module. You'll then see a life-sized rendering of Dr. Arash addressing the selected topic.
If your device does not support AR technology, you can access the content in VR mode within each module.
